The Board of Trustees for the Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA), which began as the Garden Cities Association in 1899, wrote to the judging panel of The Wolfson Economics Prize MMXIV with a memorandum of the Association’s work on bringing forward large scale new communities along garden city principles.
The TCPA has published a whole range of materials directly relevant to the objectives of the Wolfson Economics Prize and hopes that the information presented in the memorandum will act as a source of reference for those looking at large-scale development to ensure the visionary and inclusive ideals of the Garden City movement are upheld.
